There are four well known ships that sail across the six seas, the Revenants, the Hawthorne, the Doppelgangers and the Leviathan.

The Hawthorne aren't just a pirate crew, they're also a band of assassins on the side. They can be ruthless when someone gets in their way, but they never murder unless it's a last resort or if the victim is one of their hits. But of course, for them, being a pirate comes before being an assassin any day. Look out for your shipmates, and most importantly look out for yourself is a motto they live by. They are known as the Deadly Nobles of the Sea. They show courtesy to their captives, guests, and anyone they meet out on the open sea, given they don't straight out attack them. This doesn't mean they are trusting however. They know turning a blind eye to anyone as a pirate is a death sentence just waiting to happen. They do not participate in crimes other than assassinations.
The Hawthorne currently gets along with the other three crews, and is considered an ally by all three crews.

The Revenants are known for their skill in necromancy, and their ability to communicate with the dead. They see death as a sacred subject, one meant to be respected. They have much respect for the dead, and will often leave out offerings for those who have departed. They are feared due to their ability to work with the dead, and have the dead do their bidding given they agree to it. Most members also have a spirit bound to them, and of course the spirit has willing agreed to it else they wouldn't have been bound. They do not murder unless needed, but they do participate in crimes however. Whether it be smuggling, thievery, kidnapping, you name it. If it'll benefit them, they'll do it.
The Revenants currently get along just fine with Hawthorne and the Doppelgangers. They often find themselves working with the Doppelgangers for a matter of fact. They do not get along with Leviathan and can be found in rough patches with them time to time.

Masters of illusion, they trick their opponents into fighting thin air whenever they're in a rut. If they know their opponent well enough, they may even cause them psychological damage along the way. Of course, this doesn't mean they can do just whatever illusion they wish. Each member excels in one certain type of illusion, whether it be the ability to change how they appear to others, the ability to make a fake copy of themselves or someone else entirely, you name it. They're a rather sleazy, amoralistic, self indulgent crew. They do what they want, when they want. As long as they make sure not to disturb their captain anyways. They aren't above murder for no explicit reason, and they participate in crime quite often.
They currently get along with the Revenants and the Hawthorne, often finding themselves working with both of them. They often help the Hawthorne out with their assassination hits, and they often work with the Revenants in terms of general crime. They are on a neutral stance with Leviathan.

They have a wonderful connection with animals, often communicating with them via telepathy. They keep tons of animals on their ship, and most animals are partners with one of the crew mates aboard. They only keep domestic animals that are smaller than humans and all types of birds aboard, as any other type of animal they can have trouble with training due to their size, preparatory level, or anything else. There is a rule however, one animal partner per human partner. Leviathan is the newest albeit thriving crew of pirates around the seas, they've already made quite a name for themselves. They are rather lax on most things, having no problem with uncalled murder and crimes. Although they have restrictions on kidnapping and smuggling: they'll only do it for money, and a large amount at that.
They currently get along with the Hawthorne. As for the Revenants, the two have crashed quite a bit in the past and do not get along thus far. They're neutral on the Doppelgangers, having not much experience with them.
